Position Description
Regional Sales Managers will be responsible for selling our turnkey web presence management and interactive marketing services to new customers, specifically in the ski, hospitality and travel industry.
This person will be responsible for identifying new customers, promoting services, developing sales proposals, obtaining new business, meeting sales forecasts and ensuring that customer service needs are met. In addition, the candidate will utilize tools and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activity, pipelines and forecasting of revenues.
In addition, the Regional Sales Manager is expected to manage relationships with customers in a way that ensures customer satisfaction and a profitable relationship for RTP. The Regional Sales Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s executive, senior and middle level management – particularly through the sales and post-implementation timeframes. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to work closely with the assigned Project Manager to understand priorities, plans, challenges and opportunities associated with the delivery of the project. The Regional Sales Manager will balance the needs of the customer with the interests and direction of RTP while acting at various times as facilitator, consultant, and business process strategist, among other roles.
This role must demonstrate the ability to coordinate and drive cross-organizational teams, including Project Management, Design & Development. This position reports to the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet or exceed identified sales quota for each fiscal year within your assigned territory.

Territory Management-growing sales pipeline for new business with new clients.

Opportunity Management-

Qualification of opportunities to be good fit for RTP based on client’s organization, business strategy, key business objectives and buying criteria.

Ensures that the client understands our process of initial proposal to post-discovery project definition and scope.

Works closely with other resources to properly estimate and budget for project costs post initial Discovery.

Ensures that proper expectations are communicated and understood by client with regards to project deliverables, dates, and roles and responsibilities.
Negotiate contracts.

Customer Management-Works closely with Project Manager to “quarterback” internal RTP resources and activities across various departments to assure that the needs of the client are met.

Serve as primary point of escalation for issues.

Communicates client issues and concerns to appropriate areas of RTP and works to improve processes and procedures to reduce chances of problem reoccurrence and maximize client satisfaction.

Monitors status of ongoing projects – working closely with Project Manager – to ensure that current project and all enhancement requests and product upgrades are delivered on time and within budget.

Participates in the project sunset meeting and shares any new products and process strengths/weaknesses to colleagues.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree; Business, Marketing or Computer Science.

Prefer 5 to 7 years experience in software sales or agency account executive.

Knowledge of as many of the following as possible; e-commerce, resort management, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, e-mail marketing, RSS, Collaborative Communications.

Resort & Recreation knowledge or experience is a plus.

Outstanding organizational, analytical, and written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.

Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.

Strong understanding of software and B2B sales business model.

Excellent analytical, creative, communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

High-energy and passionate.

Salesforce.com experience.
-
Previous interactive agency and/or hospitality experience is desired.

A self-starter who is results-oriented and passionate and enthusiastic about selling.
Candidate must:

Demonstrated consistently exceeding sales quotas.

Have 5 to 7 years of agency or software sales experience.

In depth understanding of Internet marketing and advertising.

Be able to develop and articulate a clear understanding of RTP and RTP products/solutions.

Be familiar Web design and delivery tools.

Be Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
OTHER:
Location – Denver, Colorado
Travel is required.
This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites which could be as much as 20-30% annualized.
