Philadelphia, PA - June 3, 2004 - The Wachovia Cycling Series launches it's new website: www.WachoviaCycling.com. The site was designed by RTP/Internet Solutions, an award winning web development and design firm and the Official Internet Solutions Provider of the Pro Cycling Tour. The new site includes race schedules, racer information, race results, ticket & race promotional gear sales, and travel and booking information.

The site is very user friendly and it will enable us to provide more information and services to our site visitors, including race results and merchandise sales."
According to Chauner, the main goals of the newly designed site were to build and expand the sponsor and PCT brands, provide site visitors with complete race information, increase revenue through VIP tickets, retail packages and sponsorships, build user loyalty through opt-in e-mail newsletters and announcements, and increase visibility and awareness for PCT sponsors.

The Pro Cycling Tour kicks off the week of June 1-6 with the Wachovia Cycling Series which includes the 20th anniversary of the Wachovia USPRO Cycling Championship in Philadelphia, followed by the BMC Software New York City Cycling Championship, August 1; and culminates with The T-MOBILE INTERNATIONAL, presented by BMC Software in San Francisco, September 12. Five-time Tour de France champion, Lance Armstrong, will compete in the San Francisco event alongside his teammates on the U.S. Postal Service Team.
The Wachovia Cycling Series is managed by Threshold Sports and sanctioned by USA Cycling, the national governing body for cycling. Comprised of four races, the Wachovia Cycling Series is part of the Pro Cycling Tour that links the nation's biggest professional road cycling races featuring world-class athletes, live television coverage and community-related activities.
